Baldwin City and Baker University Community Wellness Festival
Come join us on Saturday, April 4th,2020 at Collins Gym (6th and Fremont) on the Baker University campus from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the Community Wellness Festival.  This event is sponsored by the Baldwin Recreation Commission and Baker University.  The Community Wellness Festival will include:
Free Health Screenings
  • Blood Pressure
  • Posture Check
  • Body Fat
  • Bone Density
  • Hearing
  • Vision
  • Dental
  • Donate Blood
  • Car Seat Check 
Drawings for door prizes approximately every 15 minutes (must be present to win!), free t-shirts to the first 200 to enter and a limited supply of kids free bike helmets.  Big prizes to include:
  • 2 adult bikes
  • 2 kids bikes 

Blood-Draw Screenings Available Through Lawrence Memorial Hospital

  • $30 ($40 with PSA test) if you preregister by March 27; $40 ($50 with PSA test) if you register the day of the festival
  • Savings of $300 for full profile, savings of $400 if PSA is included.
  • Screenings available through Lawrence Memorial Hospital.


Blood Draws 8 – 10 a.m. | Total Lipid Profile & Several Other Blood Tests + Prostate Specific Antigen Test for Men


  • Do not eat or drink anything (water and medications are exceptions) after midnight before having blood drawn.

Registration forms for lab test are also available at Baldwin City Recreation Office, Kwik Shop, Baldwin City Market, Auburn Pharmacy, and Baker University Student Counseling Center (Sixth and Grove).

To benefit mental health and depression awareness

Start: Collins Gym

  • $10 if you preregister HERE
  • $15 donation suggested on day of event | 8:00 a.m. registration, 8:30 a.m. race start
  • Proceeds to support local youth scholarships.
